Since Dani Griffiths was a young girl in Vancouver, constructing hats (often from household objects to project a certain character) was her calling. After moving to New York City when she was 21, she picked up the trade by dedicating eight hours to hand-shaping each hat and learning firsthand about how various materials behave when manipulated. Then in 2012, the self-taught milliner debuted her first collection of angora felt hats at Assembly New York. Mix | The Gentle Road to Friendship

  Enjoy The Gentle Road to Friendship, a mix by John Kirby our long time friend and a great source of inspiration for us here at Clyde. Kirby is a master of the synth. You may have seen him enhancing the live shows of Blood Orange, Sebastian Tellier or Cant or Chairlift to name a few. His most recent output is a project with artist Cara Stricker called DROOL. An album of the duo's sonic explorations will be released on Terrible Records this summer.
