Grilled Pineapple and Hummus Sandwich  

A few weeks ago we had the absolute joy of visiting Kiki Kudo who is a lifestyle journalist from Japan. Kiki prepared two delicious and healthy family style meals for us (See Part 1 below) at Georgia Studios that are both approachable with simple ingredients and a tight schedule in mind.

 

 

Ingredients

  • buy pre cut pineapple and pre made hummus  

  • 1 T olive oil 

  • 1/4 thin sliced red onions

  • 1/2 sliced tomato 

  • 2 slices of rye bread

  • lil cayenne pepper

  • lil salt 

 

Recipe
Buy pre cut pineapple and your favorite hummus (or make your own!)
thinly slice pineapple
grill pineapple with olive until it is brown. 
toast rye bread 
spread hummus on rye bread
thin sliced tomatos and red onions
put grilled pineapple on the bread
sprinkle cayenne
put tomato and onion
sprinkle salt
then, make a sandwich. 
thats it.
